QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

We're seeking an experienced QA Manager to join our Biotech manufacturing factory, located in Phetchaburi province, to maintain and improve food production quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards in accordance with regulations.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and enforce comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures

  • Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures effectively

  • Maintain and improve the quality management system standards and food safety standards, such as GHPs/HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, GAP, Halal, and other relevant regulations pertaining to the organization

  • Evaluate the adequacy of quality assurance standards and food quality and safety management systems

  • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external organizations, including government agencies, authorities, and customers

  • Create specifications for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products

  • Establish procedures for quality inspection, analysis methods, and quality assurance

  • Develop sampling procedures and provide guidance for recording and reporting quality data

  • Review the implementation and effectiveness of quality and inspection systems

  • Monitor the action plan and follow up on the results of material and product testing to ensure the quality of the finished product

  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system

  • Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions

  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues

  • Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards

  • Drive the organization to achieve its goals

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in food science or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the food industry

  • At least 3 years of experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems/food safety standards in the food or feed industr

  • Extensive knowledge and training in food quality and safety management systems

  • Familiarity with food laws and regulations

  • Strong knowledge of effective data analysis and statistical analysis

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and presentation skills

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage people effectively

  • Proficiency in English communication
